Chevrolet Camaro 2011
In
a weird twist to debuting tuned up vehicles, Hennessey has unveiled the
2011 HPE700, a special edition Camaro limited to only 24 units,
including a special convertible version. Under the hood there is an
upgraded LS9 engine that delivers 755 HP and 763 lb-ft of torque. This
would seem to be pretty impressive except that Hennessey has already
introduced us to the HPE8002010 HPE700 package producing 815hp on regular 93 octane or 1000
hp on 104 octane (race fuel). Confused? Yeah, so are we. At least
they were able to boost the number of ponies from their which topped
out at 725hp. Nonetheless, the price for this limited HPE700 package is
$132,500, including the base vehicle.
Chevrolet, along with various other
manufacturers, are now wholly catering for the most die hard fans of
the brand – the aftermarket enthusiasts. The Synergy Series of limited
edition Camaros
will feature a new, differently themed customized model each year. The
first Camaro Synergy model was the 2010 Synergy Green special-edition
car. As you would expect, the Camaro Synergy Series 2011 model contains
a mix of exterior and interior accessories that sets it apart from the
normal Camaro. These include an exclusive gray interior with red
accent stitching throughout, which is based on the Camaro Chroma, a show
car first exhibited at SEMA in 2009.
Chevrolet has just announced the new Camaro
with a long name. Whereas most versions of this muscle are two letters,
this one is called the XM/Accessory Appearance Package. You might want
to right that one down in case you need to remember later.
Drop Top Customs has taken us back to the glory
days with their new T-Top Kit for the 2010 Chevy Camaro. The
customized Camaro is set to debut at 2010 SEMA next month, and sales
for the T-Top kit will start about a month after. For $6,500 you can
have the car of your 80’s dreams. Of course, with a kit like this, who
will want the Camaro Convertible when Chevrolet actually
unveils it?
The SEMA Show is fast approaching and some
last minute additions are coming out of the woodwork to make their
presence known when the Las Vegas Convention doors open on Tuesday,
November 2nd. We have already lost count of all of the customized cars
that will be on hand, but Raging Bull Marketing (RBM) is putting their
stamp on the show with their own version of the Chevrolet Camaro
muscle car. And we have the first image and details on this new
Camaro.
